Personally, we went to Iraq for the "Sole Reason for Weapons of Mass Destruction." that is what was sold to the nation that Iraq was a growing threat! I totally agreed with that premise! However, when it was found that Iraq did not contain any "Weapons of Mass Destruction", when we were were there, we should have gave Saddam back his country & pulled out ASAP! That alone would have been enough of a deterent for Saddam to have behave, since the World's SuperPower has the ability to invvade his country & hand him his ****! When the Police serve a warrant on a known," Drug House", they hit that house, & hit it very hard using a SWAT team! After drugs are found/or not found, the Police leave! They do not tie up their resources,& do not occupy the house! Same premise as far as I'm concerned!...............

You continue to post in these forums that we went to war in Iraq for the sole purpose of WMD's, but that isn't true. Even if that were the only reason we went to war Sadam DID have WMD's; he used them on his own people. We found a truck that was a mobile chemical weapons lab... but that doesn't count does it. Sadam had how many months to get rid of or hide his WMD's while the weapons inspectors were denied access? You are smoking crack if you think Iraq had no WMD's I'm sure you also think we went to war to steal their oil too!! So obviously it wasn't just because of the weapons right.

You are misinformed. You have that in quotes--who are you quoting?

If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will immediately and unconditionally forswear, disclose, and remove or destroy all weapons of mass destruction, long-range missiles, and all related material.

If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will immediately end all support for terrorism and act to suppress it, as all states are required to do by U.N. Security Council resolutions.

If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will cease persecution of its civilian population, including Shi'a, Sunnis, Kurds, Turkomans, and others, again as required by Security Council resolutions.

If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will release or account for all Gulf War personnel whose fate is still unknown. It will return the remains of any who are deceased, return stolen property, accept liability for losses resulting from the invasion of Kuwait, and fully cooperate with international efforts to resolve these issues, as required by Security Council resolutions.

If the Iraqi regime wishes peace, it will immediately end all illicit trade outside the oil-for-food program. It will accept U.N. administration of funds from that program, to ensure that the money is used fairly and promptly for the benefit of the Iraqi people.

I never stated that he did not ever have WMD's! The fact remains that when we hit the country, we did not find what the intel supported & we never left! Now look at where we are!.............

Why is Bush the worst president? Who is the best?

Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, he used them, and we found them. They were not however nuclear. But since everybody that hates Bush keeps forgeting, or is just plain not informed, that we found chemical and biological weapons. I guess the ability to kill 50,000 is ok, while the ability to kill a million with a nuke, well, thats where we draw the line!

And give Saddam his country back, are you kidding?!?! The man murdered his own people. lived a life of weath and greed while his country starved. Suppressed women and forced men to serve. You think after not finding any nukes we should have just let him go??

I've read a lot of your posts, and when I saw that quote, the only thing that kept me from launching was that it seemed out of character. The quotation marks helped, too. There's a lot that I don't agree with Bush on domestically; but, he is in no way the worst President we've ever had... Or the most hated. He is the worst one in the past 7 years though.
