Unhappy HDTV Issues

I am having issues with my tv, it is a RCA HDTV and it started acting all trippy on me, it switches channels by itself, i first thought that maybe one of the remotes was pressed against something causing the channel to change but than i found all the remotes and it wasnt it, so i have a tv that changes channels by itself, i hope someone can help, was purchased about a lil over 1 yr ago, no warranty anymore through walmart, it wasnt a cheap tv either, im just hoping someone can help me out, thanks

Is it random? Put a peice of black electrical tape over the IR sensor and see if it is possibly picking up something, IE other remote..

I had already tried the tape, the channels still change by themselves, about my house being haunted could be, i dunno...
its really annoying, i happened another time before but it only changed channels for like a day or two, so i left the tv alone and when i turned it back on it worked, than about a few months late which is now, the tv started doing the same things, its been like this for about 3 and half non stop weeks,

the buttons are all on the front, there is a video/audio input on the front of the tv as well as on the back, so the power and menu is all on the front

i did do that, but it says " the front panel buttons are blcoked, press clear on the remote control to clear the message" when i push the clear button it goes away for a split second but comes back on, so there is a huge message right smack in the middle of the tv

Then your channel up/down buttons on the Set are stuck, like they are pressed, or something on the board is fubar'ed

Im doubting a button is stuck. But you can check them easily, just push them. Other than that its probably a circuit board that controls the funtion that is failing. I would call RCA directly and ask them if they have heard of the issue and see what they suggest.

Old or not, cheap or expensive...TV's now days will just fail.
