Yeah, I told him all he had to do was not play games, just give me a fair and reasonable price to start with and we could do business. he went to the manager and came back with the sticker price.

Custom cabinets/carpentry business run out of a shop in my backyard. Something about sawing away on a nice piece of oak with the overhead doors open on a rainy day while making a living sounds fantastic.

I love building crap like that when I can, trouble is I currently have no room or tools to support such a hobby. Dad had everything I needed to build a sewing cabinet for my mom, but I've since been to college and currently live 1.5 hours away from his garage.

I would want to be a farmer. My Grandfather was, I know its alot of work but atleast your not stuck in a office, or in traffic or tied to a phone.

i went to a voc tech/high school and took carpentry for all 4 years. i enjoy house building /cabintmaking etc... i went to work for a developer right after i graduated. it sucked when winter came up here in mass... no work. i was to broke back then to go down south and work. i have a buddy who just got his plumbers license and we work year round. i help him on weekends.

The most rewarding job I ever had was hauling hay. (Square Bales)

There is nothing like the feeling of hauling the last load off the field after working your *** off all day and looking back at the clean field.
