I want to put a Saleen Body Kit on my mustang, but will it be dumb to have a saleen body kit on just a regular GT mustang? Any other good body kits for my car besides the Roush? I like everything about the saleen except for how it says saleen in the back bumper.

These tires only have 12k on them. They arent worn down yet. haha

 

I think your car looks just fine I wouldnt mess with it.

 

There are like 4 different mustang gts rolling around and i want to make mine look different. I need something to make the exterior stand out. I was also thinking about a front lip with Stalker rear bumper and side skirts. Save some money.

 

1st is the chin spoiler and second is rear stalker bumper and stalker side skirts.

I'd do the following:

Mach 1 Grille Delete
Mach 1 Chin Spoiler
Change the wheels

That should set it off enough. I had an '00 convertible GT and I did the same things to it. Made it look different enough, if that makes sense.

 

I think the grill delete just makes it look like something is broken. I agree 100% on the mach 1 chin spoiler. I like the wheels. They are staying. I think the side skirts and rear bumper along with the chin spoiler would look great.

 

Do the Roush stuff ... Join ROA and get 10% off, too.

 

Im not big on the side exit exhaust. Thats why i looked at the stalker rear and side skirts.

 

It looks sick man ... I wish it looked that good for my year.

 

But the exhaust kit is like $900. I could buy the tips and have my exhaust guy bend the pipes, but the tips are $80 a piece and then the exhaust job would be like $60 bucks. I already have an exhaust system. I dont know. There isnt alot of places around here to have parts like these installed. I just want to be different. There is a roush and saleen mustang, both my body style like 4 blocks from my house. Thats a big reaon why I am looking elsewhere for another quality kit. The cervinis wis high quality isnt it.

 

Cervinis stuff is great. Cervinis and 3D Carbon are the few companies that produce quality stuff. 3D Carbon is a licenses Ford product and they actually make the side scoops for the S197 GT/CS and Shelby GTs. I don't ever not go with something I really like because someone else has it. I mean, someone is bound to have what you're going to do regardless of what you do. So who cares !!

 

I dont either. I am leaning away from Roush because of the side exit exhaust and the Saleen because I dont want a poser Saleen. I just want to stand out. I do really like the Mach 1 chin spoiler. I might just put some lowering springs on it and make it insanely loud.

 

I don't really like the Mach 1 chin spoiler but that's just me. It looks cheap.
