I started feeling optimistic when I saw car companies offering guaranteed gas prices with a purchase of their cars. No way they would do this unless they were pretty sure it was going to be worthless in a short time... Do I sound like a cynic?

Nice. Very funny, yet painfully sad at the same time.

Nope. I got that feeling too. No way will gas be $10 a gallon.

Even how it is, being $4.00+/- a gallon... at $7.00 higher and people won't go to work, travel, or do anything.

At $8.00 a gallon, expect the US to come to a screeching halt. The stockmarket will crash.

At $10.00 a gallon, expect people to try to overthrow the government.

You know I never thought of that. Its true though. This price increase will not last. We are going through hard times and people are panicking. I am confident that everythign will level out and we will be driving are huge SUV's happily again.

True... good point!

It's got to come to an end...

I'm just sitting here waiting... this is one reason why I can't see selling my trucks.
