Unhappy suspended until further notice.

Hey guys, well it's a long story but here goes if your interested in how.
Okay..today i show up for school at 6:45 sit down like normal. And theres this girl that sits behind me thats black. Since the begining of the year i've put up with her crap. She's always calling me white boy and stuff like that,I was already pissed off because sombody broke in my garage and stole a 200 dollar drill and 250 dollar jigg saw tuesday night. Anyway the first time today she was like "hey white boy" i was just like i've got a name and you need to call me by it if you expect me to answer you. She stops for awhile and later in class when my teacher was passin out papers she goes hurry up white boy.(the teacher right there does nothing about it) So i figured if she can say that so can I. So i go i have a name black girl! lol Everyone in the whole room is like in shock because i said that yet she does it to me daily. The teacher says "what did you just say"?? I said you heard me and im sick and tired of this stupid bitch being racist towards me every day and nobody doing anything about it. The teacher says your coming with me to the school officers office or whatever. Me,still being pissed off i say no screw this im leaving. By the time i get to the 1st floor the officer is waiting for me,hes black so of course he thinks im the racist one in this situation. So now just 1 day before schools out for summer i get suspended. All because of this stupid girl that has a big mouth. 1 more thing,i'n not racist in any way but im getting sick and tired of people like her getting away with everything then i speak up one time and i'm the racist one.
edit:all this in just over an hour!

I think you did the right thing by standing up for yourself, but i think you did the wrong thing by leaving class. That in itself may be more of the reason for suspension since you were being disobidient. I say **** it kid. Take the high road and laugh about it amongst your friends. Hell even laugh about it directly to the school officers face. Threaten to take this to the local media if they dont lift the suspension.

Damn man sorry to hear about that, Thats ****ing bull**** she can call you white boy all day long but as soon as you open your mouth you get suspended!!

Well....I dont really know what to tell you, but I would have done the exact same thing. Dont worry, your not in any legal trouble. The cop was just making sure no one hit anyone or something, besides being suspended. Tell your parents the entire story (i imagine your in highschool??) an tell them what happend so they know about it all. Other then that, Enjoy your few days off

yea thanks, and i am in highschool. my parents arent mad at all so it's fine. It just bothers me that the minute i stand up for myself i get knocked right back down. I'm sick of people being scared to speak up and tell people to shut the hell up. Yea i know i shouldn't of left but i wasn't about to sit in there with both of those idiots. (my teacher and that girl)

Is this your senior year? If so get it resolved whatever it takes, you don't want this person holding you back form graduating.

On the other hand. Good job on choosing what battles and when. You seem to have tried the correct maner many times before this with out the proper resolution (not that i'm surprised). Everybody* in the school will probably label you a racist from now on so get ready for it. But once again choose your battles wisely.

Nice work, and i'm sure it will all blow over.

you better hope Al Sharpton doesn't catch wind of this, holy crap!

j/k, that really sucks dude, sorry to hear about it. I'm not racist either, but double standards like this burns me! I could see it being an issue if you had used the n word or something like that, but calling her a black girl in response to her calling you a white boy? i don't get it...
I guess all cops are racist, too, when they call in a suspects race/gender...

nah I'm only 15,going on into 10th grade. But thanks and yea i know ill be called a racist and stuff but it's doesn't bother me. I'm already called a redneck/hillbilly lol. This is like the biggest hipocritical school ever, they banned confederate flag shirts and things like that earlier this year. And my brother is a junior going on senior at the same school and he flys a confederate and american flag off the back of his truck. And one night when he left his truck parked at the school sombody stole the flags and busted his windows and keyed the hell out of his truck. But being the kind of person he is he got it fixed and got bigger flags haha. I know thats off topic kinda but it just shows how ignorent people can really be.

Whether she was black or white, asian or spanish you should of just ignored her. Handle your business first and dont let ppl like that get to you. I know I know I know it was getting on your nerves but sometime you have to let things slide to keep from getting in trouble. This is probably what she wanted anyway, now look you feed into it.

Not to be a jerk but I don't regret it one bit really. I made her feel like an idiot once,i put up with it every day just about through the whole school year so it was like a ticking bomb haha. She caught me at the wrong time and i went off.

I applaud that you stood up for yourself, but there were probably better ways to handle it. Did you ever talk to anyone at the school? I know if I told some one at my old high school that I was being harassed because of my race they'd be all over it.

It doesn't matter what color you are, racism is racism. I would have brought in a digital recorder (or tape recorder if you don't have digital) and recorded some of the stuff she said, then played it back to the principal, counselors, teachers, whoever would listen.

If you know the rules of the game, you can use them to your advantage.

Now THAT'S a bunch of crap. You have to stand up for yourself. This is exactly why our great country is going down the ****hole. No one wants to stand up for themselves when they are wronged. He was completely in the right up until he left. If he had stayed to see the teacher or principal or whatever he should be in NO trouble whatsoever. I say good for you and if I were you, I would show up tomorrow and tell them that you'll leave when she does.
