I need opinions ...

Well guys, here's the scoop. My girl has a 06 Mustang, it's a V6. She's been wanting the bumpers off of my car including my chin spoiler. So we decided that she'd help me get my new stuff and she could take my stuff. Of course she'd have to get it painted but that's not a big deal. So she's going to end up with my front bumper, chin spoiler, current grille with fog lights, rear bumper, as well as my stock GT mufflers.

Well I was so close to pulling the trigger on both the GT500 front end conversion and the Cervinis body kit. I decided against the GT500 because it's kind of tame and I want something more aggressive. I decided against the Cervinis because it's stupid for a daily driver. I talked to some people and they said for the slightest dip in the road you need to slow down to like 10 to not scrape the bumper. I'm not dealing with that, I like to drive my car.

So here is where I'm at currently. I ordered a pre-painted Roush spoiler and Roush black billet grille. I didn't realize that Roush pre paints the items and not the place who sells them, which is why I was buying the spoiler so I could see the quality of the paint. Oh well, I'll just sell my GT500 spoiler. Anyways, I'm thinking about doing the Roush front bumper, along with my new black billet grille and spoiler. Now I'm trying to figure out something for the rear. I'm thinking the GT500 rear bumper would be pretty cool. I can't do the Roush since you have to use the stock bumper and she's getting that. It's kind of cheesy how it mounts anyways. So what do you guys think?

I didn't realize you guys were so lazy ...

This is the GT500 rear bumper ..

This is the Cervinis Kit for the side exhuast for the GT500 bumper ...

Saleen rear bumper is gross, IMO. I'm leaning towards doing the GT500 rear bumper and than eventually doing the Cervinis Side Exhaust for it. I ordered the Roush Front Bumper and chin spoiler today. I'm also getting the grille that is pictured here, not the goofy emblem though. As well as that rear spoiler.

Go with the GT500 rear bumper, an cut out the rear just below the license plate with a sawzall (measure 5 times, cut once) an have the exhaust exit right below the license plate. Have tips like the side skirt exhaust (pictured) but put them side to side. IMO that would look bad ***. (sorta like a new LS7)

Grille looks sweet.

Keep the exhaust out the back though. It looks cleaner, especially with the GT500 bumper. Im not really a fan of that Cervinis rear.

That's was my other option msall150. Saves me a bunch of money, too.

So what would I do with the cut outs already in the bumper? Regardless, I'm paying hundreds of dollars so things line up and fit. I'm not taking the sawzall to a brand new bumper. Don't you mean Z06?

Your going to spend a few hundered on the bumper and painting it, if you kept the same side skirts an just changed your rear bumper, front bumper, an exhaust, you wouldent have to pay that much for the exhaust to line up. Sense its already been run past the rear diff...There isent THAT much custom exhaust work to be done....

This is what im talking about..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/C6-Co...m380033273359&

Go to the junk yard, find a 2006ish corvette (There will be at least 30 of them, 16yr olds wreck those almost daily) an it shouldent run more then $100 bucks, an that will save you from buying it new. Polish it after the install an your good to go. Or you could just buy it off ebay for 45 dollars...either way..

You wanted opinons, So theres mine.

my personaly opinion is i like the cervini's with the side exit... i think with the front end you ordered it would tie together nicely... although the gt500 with the exhaust out the back is clean and neat.

I'm leaning towards the GT500 rear bumper, no side exhaust. I'll probably change my mind a few more times before I make a choice. I guess I'll wait to do anything to my exhaust. Now onto waiting for my stuff to come in ...
