Smile Forget about the gas prices, I'd never get rid of my truck!

I'm new to owning a truck and at first I kinda had regrets about buying it because I'm using over twice as gas to travel the same distances that my previous car used. And the gas prices have really went crazy since January when I bought my truck.

Yesterday while getting on an onramp of a local highway, for some odd reason I came to the conclusion that if something happened to my truck, I would go and immediately go and buy another one! Even with these astronomical gas prices, this is all that I want to drive!

There's just a weird feeling driving a car now that I've been driving my truck and I will have it no other way!

I just wanted to get that off my chest! Thanks for listening.

I like my truck also. I hate being in a car low to the ground.

I understand what you mean. I really love driving my gals' accord, as it is zippy as all hell, corners real well, gets more than 2x my gas milage, etc.

But, I honestly can't see worth a damn in it and it just doesn't do it for me as a DD. I don't think I'll be switching to a car anytime soon as well
