I saw that and thought someone could just use an adjustable speed dremel with a sanding spool on it.

we get a mobile dog groomer to wash, clip hair and nails on our dog. The mobile groomer a late 20ish girl always gets the wet t-shirt from washing our dog.
gotta love those large milk cans.

That thing would freak my dog out! She hates having anyone mess with her feet and if I came at her with that thing whining there'd be no holding on to her!

Yea my Buddy dose the same thing, I took him to the vet almost a year ago to have his nails cut. He put a musale on him and i had to hold him. The vet cut his nails a little too short and he blead quite a bit, and was not happy at all.... and my arms, neck and face where scrached to He!!... I was thinking about this cuz it looks like somthing i could do and he might not hate it as much... but if i have to take him back into the vet to have it done agian i am not holding him... i dont even want to watch.. i felt so bad

just take your time and after a while you'll get the hang of it. i'm used to trimming hooves and you just have to know where to cut. also, they make a medicated powder that you use to dab on the quick when you cut too much and it starts to bleed. its a coagulent for animals...

helps marrying a k-9 handler who used to be a vet assistance too lol

My wife just uses the cheap nail clippers from the pet store on our two dogs and cat. They are used to it and don't mind a bit. I looked at this new gadget and I don't think it would work well for us because it's motorized and our cat wouldn't sit still for it.
