Hell if I was the kids Id be pissed but hey it definately opens there eyes up to the harsh reality of it. It just might make someone think twice before drinking and driving.

They did that at our school, but the kids were still in class, they took them out of class dressed them in black and put baby power on their face. They werent allowed to talk the rest of the day.

Then we would go outside and they would have a staged wreck outside and police and fire dept and everything, even Care Flight (rescue helicopter)

They showed us a slide show at the end of the year to get people not to drink at prom, and they had pictures of a girl that wrecked her car in town a few weeks prior and died. She was high out of her mind when she wrecked her taurus into a bridge support. Several of her close friends were very upset that they put her pictures in the slide show. They thought it was too soon.....

I have questioned the scare tactics used by MADD for quite some time now. After a stupid stunt like that I would want a stiff drink just to calm my nerves

again that is not going as far as what the orig article has stated, dressing them up as dead, and telling the class that their classmates are dead are very different things. I am very against drunk driving but telling a bunch of unstable teens that their classmates are dead is dangerous and irresponsible.
