I finally got around to playing one last night. I'm not really into video games. I used to be when I was a kid but not really anymore. I play a little bit of Counterstrike on the computer when I'm bored but Wii is on a whole 'nother level of entertainment. I really have to say that Nintendo hit it out of the park with this one with everything.

Needless to say, I had to have one. I'm not joking about this next part. I called about 50 places today to try to find one because a lot of places receive their shipments on Saturday nights. I got the same answer every single time. I did find a place online selling them as a package deal. It was $499 which was more than I wanted to spend but it wasn't a bad deal. I got the system, two controllers, a nun chuck controller, four games, and a 2gb memory card. I can't forget that I paid for the overnight shipping on it. They've got a day processing so I'm guessing I'll be getting it on Tuesday or Wednesday.I feel like a little kid. I can't wait to get it and get it set-up.

So does anyone else have one? What games do you have and which ones do you like? Any accessories that are on a need to have basis? etc ...

Get an xbbox 360, or ps3. I heard the Wii was overrated.

if u liked counterstrike get urself a 360 or ps3

and get on CALL OF DUTY 4 its basically like counterstrike but better

 

I think you will like it for a couple of weeks and then you will hate it. I played Zelda for about a week and have not touched it since. Everygame you get you have to stand and wave your hands even with the sports games. IMO it sucks and I have not played it in months, I prefer the play my 360..

 

i want to get one and put it in my truck then play a racing game with the controler taped to my steering wheel hahaha

im hooked on halo right now......every thursday night we get about 6-12 people together and do a system link

 

halo 3? or 2? That game and COD4 are the best thing on the planet.

 

I'm not really into video games so that's probably why I like it ...

I played Tiger Woods and it sold me on it.

 

Id try the other systems if you are able to, much better gameplay and more games. I got bored with the Wii very quick.

 

The wii is good, it comes with every thing you need. Also wii sports which will keep you entertained and good for small get togethers at your house. Thers a lot of games that will get you using your wii mote in differnt ways, like cooking mama and that surgery game. Just look around for wii games. Oh and making mii's are cool too

i honestly haven't played video games since middle school and have hated gamers with a passion but then a month ago i was hanging out with some friends and they wanted to play halo so i played and even though i sucked it was a blast

 

I have all 3, ps3 - xbox360 elite - wii.. The ps3 is my blu ray player, i play mx vs atv and burnout paradise.. Xbox is sitting there collectin dust, and the wii gets played every single night- Wii fit is awesome, i love it!! Get 4 controllers and four nun-chuck controllers. The battery chargers are a plus, you will go through tons of AA.. Playing with a few friends while drinking is a whole new level!! Have fun!

 

i have to agree. i only care for the multiplayer modes. fun party games. but the wii is good for parties too. and the guitar heros and rock band. those are the only time i play games anymore.
