MMA on Versus 9pm eastern Faber/Pulver

Anyone going to tune in to the fights? Looks like it might be a decent free card.

I'll be watching on TSN in Canada. This card should be awesome. The lightweight fighters are where it's at. Can't wait to see Torres again - that guy is sick on the ground. This is the card that should have been on CBS last night. I wish Jose Aldo Vs. Alexandre Nogueira and Jeff Curran Vs. Mike Brown were on the main card instead of the 205er's and Razor Rob. Oh well should still be good.

I've got to go with Faber tonight. Everyone says the WEC is the UFC's junior varsity league, but I've seen Faber fight a few times before, the guy can get out of ANYTHING. His conditioning is amazing too. Should be an awesome fight.

Anybody catch Silva vs. Liddell last night?? That was a good one.

Yep, good fight. How about the MMA on CBS with Kimbo Slice vs. Thompson. Am I the only one that thought that fight was stopped early to make Kimbo look better. I mean, he knocked Thompson silly, but the guy just refused to go down. And afterwards, Kimbo barely had enough air to make it through the interview.

That was some serious wailing!

I am rooting for Pulver tonight but it will be an upset if he pulls it off.

Kimbo looked like crap and against an opponent with few skills. He better go back to street fighting.

How about Smith vs Lawler last night? That was a war!

I was too busy watching the Faber vs Curran re-run. Curran made it to the 2nd round, took some vicious elbows and then got choked out in the guillotine. He was even on Faber's back for most of the match.

I say if it goes to the floor tonight Faber has it won.

Pulver has never lost at this weight. He's been fighting bigger guys for a long time. Faber is in for a fight tonight. Faber has just walked all over everybody; but, the last fight Pulver had in the WEC was just as one sided. I think Jens takes it; but, it's so close it could be anybody's match at anytime. I just haven't seen these guys fight enough of the same people to compare them. Pulver has definitely fought better guys though.

Damn Jens took some shots but didn't quit.

The Bantams were not bad either.

I watched all of the fights tonight. The Faber/Pulver matchup was great, cant believe it went 5 rounds.

2 fights before that was the wrestling coach from my school, UC Davis. He pwned that 6'6 black guy in the first round. That was RIDICULOUS!
