Ipod dilemma
Ipod dilemma
i have an "old" 30G ipod video which is on the fritz, and i just got the pioneer d3 for my truck and i need to update the ipod.
on my ipod video i had about 2,000 songs and no videos, battery never lasted to long for a video lol
anywho i pretty much only listen to about 10-20 different bands prolly around 500 songs , so i am wondering:
Should i get the
30G ----20,000 songs @ $249.99
or
8G ----2,000 songs @ $199.99
or
4G-----1,000 songs @ $149.99
it seems pretty logical to get the 30G for the price but i really dont need nor want the much space. i dont like looking through a long list of artist's, u kno takes too long to scroll through.
so wat do u guys think???

If you don't need the extra space then don't buy it. It's going to be the same amount of scrolling no matter what size ipod you buy because you're going to have the same 2000 songs on there. BTW, 2000 songs is nothing lol. I'm up to about 8000-9000 and have run out of room on my 60 gig from a few years back.
yeah I know what you mean. If it were me, I'd go for the extra space, but I'm always getting new music and it takes forever for me to listen to it sometimes. Still I like having my WHOLE music collection with me at all times. If you know for sure that you aren't going to be using more than a gig or two, then I wouldn't waste the money. Also, I don't know if you use computers a lot, but ipods work GREAT as portable storage between machines when you aren't using them for music.
