I think the current bodystyle Mustang is such a pure and classic design that most things people add to it only serve to muck it up. My goal with the car was to add a few subtle touches that made it my own, and then stand back to get out of the way of the quintessential vintage flair of the vehicle!

The only thing I'm not real crazy about with the car is the taillight treatment -- I wish Ford had gone the extra step and added individual "vertical lenses" for the taillights similar to what is seen on the '68 models.

As far as the color goes, it's purely sentimental. My father had a '72 Chevy pick-up that was painted almost an identical shade of orange, and over the years it became his signature around our small Midwestern town. When I saw Grabber Orange being offered on the '07 models, I just hoped and prayed that it would still be available in '08 when I had enough money saved to buy the car!
