Bush vetos the wrong bill today!

Glitch Stalls Farm Bill After House Overrides Bush Veto

How funny is that! Bush veto'd what they sent him, though it was different than what they overturned. Stupid politicians.

The House overwhelmingly rejected George W. Bush's veto Wednesday of a $290 billion farm bill, but what should have been a stinging defeat for the president became an embarrassing episode for Democrats.
The democrats have set the bar so low that if they screw up they let themselves have a do-over. Now the republicans want to join the spineless fray.

This government of ours is looking more and more like a bad TV reality show with each passing day. What a joke!

I'm sure that they'll get this bill passed. It'll be one of many short sighted bills that the soon to be democrat government will pass. Why not? It's not their money their throwing down the toilet. It's ours.

It wasn't the wrong bill that he vetod. This bill wanted to subsidise farmers regardless of how much profit they make (to get them to produce more products for that great 'ol E85) and something about food stamps. He did mean to veto it because the Dems are trying to make everyone in America have the same standard of living (read: socialist). That's what makes America great, the ghetto right next to a neighborhood full of mansions. It gives people drive.

It'll all get enacted anyway, and because of that it doesn't matter.
True, but it's good to see Pelosi squirm.

It was the wrong bill, the Dems forgot to send the whole thing, and they overrode something the President didn't veto.
