edit: did some research, looks like google actually has vans and cars with cameras on top just driving around recording panoramic views of areas. Entire cities are mapped out with this streetview on google. If you live in any of the major cities being supported by streetview, check it out, im sure you can find your house.

 

Your 100% correct, I found pictures of my house with my truck and my brothers car in the driveway. So i assume there doing it on saterdays because thats the only day we are both home during the day.
