Past Nissan threads have never really been "beneficial" to this forum of "FORD" enthusiasts.
Sometimes, it's better just to stop the thread BEFORE it gets out of hand.
There are some Nissan sites where the people there actually want to hear about Nissan.

Why is it any of your business? It's a public forum, and it is moderated. If a moderator deems it not suitable, for whatever reason, it's their call to lock it.

The guy was just showing off his truck, thought maybe some of you would appreciate it. If you didn't like his truck why didn't you just ignore the thread like a mature person instead of bashing his truck? It's so simple, I guess some people just look for conflict though.

If he would have posted in the F-150 section of the forum I could see people bashing him but he posted in the GD forum. I've seen many people show off their non Ford vehicles off and not get bashed, just because this is a truck it should be no different. He's not getting the site and bashing ford, he is a previous ford owner who still likes ford and wants one once they come out with a diesel in the F-150. No need to bash on him, just ignore the thread if you don't like it.
