I love this video (Ford GT)
Yeah, lets drive like jacka$$es on public roads full of innocent people just trying to go from point A to B. The only thing that video does is **** me off. If you can afford that caliber of car then you can afford to take it to a race track. More money than brains, nothing more. Idiots.

I agree completely, the Ford GT is in the top tier of vehicles. It is an amazing car and the exhaust on the one in the video made it sound unbelievable. I would love to try the car out at Willow springs or Laguna Seca raceway.
I have thank you very much , quite a few actually. Still dont stop me from speeding though. Call me stupid or what not, but im honest. I still speed, I still race anyone who want to and if I owned a car like that I would do the same. The majority of people who lose a loved one dont change their habits. Or they do for a short amount of time.
Do people who lose loved ones from lung cancer stop smoking? Not hardly, some but not all.
But hey, if you wanna slow down because of it thats fine by me. Good for you in fact, your saving gas too which I am unable to do. <~not being sarcastic. But theres always gonna be someone like me speeding so please stay in the far right lane and let me pass.

It takes zero skill to push the loud pedal to the floor. It takes a lot more skill to rev-match a downshift while late braking into turn three as you pass another car and setup for the perfect apex and drive out of the corner.
I have many, many SCCA Solo 2 events and NASA HPDE's under my belt... one thing that I don't have? A speeding ticket, accident or any other meaningless event on the street. Save it for the track... if you can afford any $150k+ car, you can afford a $150 trackday.
I am the same way on motorcycles... any monkey can twist the grip and hit 160 mph, but save it for a track. I have a few trackdays on the bikes as well.
I agree 100%.

Thank you, finally some logic. The Corkscrew at Laguna Seca in my BMW was by far the best experience I have ever had in a car. I grew up in Turlock and lived there until about 8yrs ago when I moved to SoCal for work. I miss it sometimes although I love the car culture here, cool to see someone else on here from Turlock. How is the weather?
