Finally got Muddy
Finally got Muddy
Well its been pretty rainy here in Virginia lately so i finally found some mud. I got a call at about 930 at night from a Titan owner saying he was stuck and needed a rescue. Well turns out there was two titans stuck and a dodge 1500 REALLY stuck. The dodge was in two ruts and his tires weren't even touching solid ground. So after about two hours i managed to yank them all out of there. Although i did end up damaging my truck a little bit from a cable snap when we where snatching the dodge out. But not nearly as bad as damage that was done to the dodge. We yanked his front bumper down about 8 inches. He had a 4x4 with no tow hooks up front.....I was amazed. I ended up with a cracked rear taillight which i replaced already and two small dents above the taillight. If i remove the taillight i can get inside the body and feel the bumps so i might be able to pound them out. Not real worried about it tho, after all it is a truck
Anyways here are a few pics of the after affects of the mud, and I threw my new gas saver out there just for the hell of it.

Nice truck man, My buddy had the same thing happen with a chain about 2 years ago, He was pulling out a friend an the chain snapped, when threw the back window of his truck cap, then the other side of the truck cap and then cracked his rear window of his truck. He was lucky it dident go threw the truck window and possibly kill him. Thats why i ALWAYS use straps, no cables or chains.
