Precedent Barak Obama

So he is the only viable alternative?

Barak Obama is the presumtive president of the United States? What has he done other than bash the Bush administration? How many years has he been a senator? What did he do before he was a senator?

I got in an argument with a friend of mine tonight because he said that he might have to vote for Obama. He said that a vote for McCain is a vote for a third Bush term. Is that what McCain is?

McCain is a liberal. Obama is an inexperianced liberal. These are our choices.

Is this country really going to vote to have Obama our president because of George Bush?

Is this really the wise choice?

Cut off our nose to spite our face?

Might as well be voting for John F. Kerry. Right?

Precedent Barak H. Obama?

If Barack or Hillary win they will fail miserably and cost the country even more money... tax the wealthy since both think "wealthy" is anything above 75k a year. When they fail after 4 years in office it will still be Bush's fault because they were left with a mess. You can not win with these people.

They will not be happy until the working mans wealth has been "redistributed" to the "poor" and "under privledged". This does not count their wealth though... only the other guy. I'm already tired of working for the other guy so they don't have to. I'm tired of paying so much in taxes to support illegal immigrants kids in school and paying outrageous health care costs to make up for illegals getting free care. I'm tired of illegals commiting crimes in our country, raping women, killing innocent people etc then taking up even more money by sitting in prison when they shouldn't have been here in the first place. Stand in line and come the country legally like everyone else.

I'm tired of "the other guy" getting a free ride. I say hold one hand out and crap in the other... see which one fills up faster!!!

but see it the way thing are said they want to tax the rich 50k-1mil a year if you make anything over 1 mil a year you are wealthy and that means you have so many other things to worry about that taxes are just a unfair burden i say lets just pony up for the consumption tax that way when bill gates buys his next boat he actually has to pay taxes on it FEAR ANY ONE WHO SAYS THEY ARE GOING TO TAX THE RICH THIS USUALLY COMES FROM SOMEONE WHO IS RICH AND THEY ARE NOT GOING TO RAISE THE TAXES ON THEMSELVES

It's funny how Obama says one thing and then 3 weeks later says the total opposite of what he said originally (ie. Rev. Wright). Guys face it, if Obama or Clinton get into office they ARE going to raise our taxes. They want big government and hand-outs for everyone. These programs do not pay for themselves and in order to fund these programs they want to do (ie. get out of your mortgage free card, government run health care) they will raise taxes to get the money.

It's kind of like the whole capital gains tax they want to raise back to the high 30 percent range. (If you don't know what capital gains are, it's when you sell something you already own ie. stock, gold, etc... and you get taxed on the income you make on it). It's been shown that when the capital gains tax goes up the revenue made on this individual tax actually goes down because people will hang on to these assets in order to avoid the big hit.

Both the Dems are full of bad ideas and Obama is a joke, I'm sorry it's like making the mailman the C.E.O. of Exxon. Doesn't work that way.

I look at it this way, Obama cant do any worse than the current president has done. The last thing we want is for McCain to get in. Republicans have always been all about looking out for the rich and big business.
A least if we get a Democrat in there we have a chance for things to change and to turn this country around.
Its really quite simple. If you are all about making the rich richer, big business, high gas prices and staying in Iraq for the next 100 years, vote republican.
If you want things to change, vote for some other party.

The truth is that the liberals are playing right into the hands of our enemy by turning on our own president and calling him names in front of the whole world.

No fair, you know that you can't resort to using actual facts when taking about Democrats! You are supposed to judge them on what they say they are doing, not what they really do.

I think 'simple' pretty much sums that up.

You're right. After all, it's not like rich people and big business do anything with their money like provide jobs for people. They just put it all in a big ol' vault and roll around in it once a week like Scrooge McDuck. Right?

And if you actually believe this then I pity you. Like I said originally, if the Dems win taxes will increase! That's more money that I work hard for going for hand-outs for people who don't have the same drive as me! I bet democrats give the homeless people on the corner money because they feel sorry for them. I hand them job applications so I can actually teach them to fish rather than give them a hand out. I work 6 days a week, 56 hours a week minimum because I want things for myself and my fiancee and you want to take 1/3 of that and hand it out to people who don't work? Correct me if I'm wrong but one of the main reasons we (the United States) fought for our freedom was because of Taxes. The democrats will tear this country apart by turning us into socialist where everyone deserves to be equal no matter how hard you work.

BTW McCain never said we would be at war with Iraq for 100 years but rather said we could maintain a military presence there if needed (ie. military base in Japan). If you are a hard working American who believes that you should be able to keep the fruits of you labor rather than pay for your lazy neighbor's lack of work then you would be moronic to vote democrat.

And if you think the president has anything to do with gas prices then you should check. One of the reason gas prices are so high is because these liberal Democrats are so worried about Global warming and protection of wildlife that we can not drill in places where we would become self-reliant on oil. Don't get me wrong, I think all wildlife has a purpose and should be able to live but you can't have your cake and eat it to in this situation. You are either going to pay high gas prices and have ultimate protection of wild life or be able to drill for oil in our home lands and have lower gas prices. The gas price hike now is partly due to China's great demand for gas since they have all decided to drive now so demand went up and supply has not which results in higher prices. It's simple economics. Oh and the Democrats will probably make gas prices higher because they want those people who assist in global warming (I say that with great dissappointment because this has been one of the coldest winters in about 50 years or so) to pay for the damage they are doing. I hope you F-150 is a hybrid.

The Soap Box is now open!!!!

It's all been said before... good post though. Social programs and taxes. Dems feel the need to be Robin Hood and help the underprivledge rather than teaching them to help themselves.
