Power Wheels?

I got a 2 1/2 year old. She currently has this queer pink battery powered 2 mph Jeep that she attempts to drive around the back yard in. Problem is, its ridiculously slow and cant really get moving on the grass very well and gets stuck all the time. Not that I am lazy, but its a PITA to walk around pushing her all the time-what's the point of having a battery powered vehicle if you have to manually push it everywhere? Plus it cant be much fun for her (we live on a busy road so she is confined to ride it in the yard which is fenced in and over an acre)
Since she loves my truck, I was contemplating getting her
the Power Wheels F-150- its got two speeds 2.5 and 5 mph, some kind of traction control for off road use etc...

Does anybody have one of these that can give me their opinion on it? Puhleeeese help otherwise the wife if going to buy her a bigger pink something-or-other vehicle

I drove the crap out of my Big Foot Powerwheels when I was little. I wore through MANY sets of tires in that thing... It did great driving around in our yard. I'd make laps around the house in it. It did fine going up grass hills and such.

My neice had one. She just sat on it in the living room though. I used to drive it around in the backyard when she got tired of it. 6' tall, 180lbs... It did just fine.

They make Power Wheels with traction control now? Man, they've come a long way!
I was impressed that mine had 2 speeds.

Yeah I know, thats what I was thinking. My traction control was to lean on the tire that was slipping...

Glad to hear positive experiences. That Big Foot looks awesome! I have been looking on the web for some info on the new F150 and it gets rave reviews. Check out this link- click "Monster Traction" on the top menu bar
wait til you see the F150 then click on to see it in action to see the video. Looks pretty cool.

I bought my son the new F-150 PW and I was actually impressed. It climbs the small hills in the yard and has zero problems in the grass. I upgraded him from the single seat, single speed F-150 that wouldn't make it through the grass.

thats what I was going to say... I know people can mod them with bigger batteries or take off their limiters. Any plans for mods on the 150?

Cool, thanks man, that's what I was hoping to hear

actually not at the moment. Currently I have a pile of appearance products on the garage floor ready to update my 97's dated looking front end-And two more UPS deliveries that came today

But when she starts to get bored with it, I may paint it dark red like mine for her or go with a larger battery. Got any aftermarket appearance products that I could retrofit it with?

I was talking about mods for your daughters F150...lol

You should paint it to match yours. You could get some of the badge lettering I sell to write her name on the F150.

The lettering kit does sound like a plan though

If she was a little older, I would sell you a toy I made that will climb great:

Every kid needs a Radio Flyer, mine just has a couple of mods.
