Your favorite BBQ sauce

With summer around the corner and the grills firing up I thought a thread about BBQ sauces might be benificial.

One of my favorites as far as spicy sauces....

Famous Dave's BBQ Sauce Devil's Spit

One of my favorite sweet sauces....(I know its ordinary common stuff but its damn good!)...

For sauce that's available everywhere - Sweet Baby Ray's Original.

My favorite is Super Smoker's, from Eureka MO. Every trip through St. Louis includes a stop at Schnuck's grocery store in Eureka for some of their St. Louis and their Kansas City sauce - and a stop at their restaurant for a meal.

I don't use BBQ sauce. It's only needed when meat is prepared and cooked poorly. BBQ sauce is a masking agent for poor meat preparation and cooking.

I can cook some mean ribs, pork chops, & chicken with out BBQ but sometimes a person just wants that flavor

For an easy access BBQ I go with sweet baby rays with hot sauce added to it and sometimes add worcestershire sauce too. The wife just bought a bottle of stubb's but I have not tried it yet.

X2. I can make killer ribs by using a dry rub overnight, and smokin them for a couple of hours and finishing them up in the oven. But i do like my sauce on my ribs too. I usually mix Sweet Baby Rays with Shorty's bbq sauce. Shorty's sauce has alot of Molasses in it and i find that the 2 of them blended is Delicious.

I make my own with ketchup, melted butter, red pepper and garlic.
