They do it because it works. He was 9 for 20 !!!! He sucks at it. You exploit him just as you exploit any other player weakness. Phoenix brought him in to beat the Spurs, they have to take his poor free throw shooting with it.
Phoenix gone fishing

First of all, its Shaq. Genius.

Secondly, If you wanna talk about crying, maybe you should watch Duncan after every single play that does not go the Spurs way. That dude cries more then a 3 month old baby. Like tonight, he tripped over his own freakin foot, cried, and got a foul called on Shaq. And hack a shaq? That is so freaking bush league. Are the Spurs really that unconfident in their defensive capabilites that they have to foul a crappy free throw shooter when the game is on the line?

There are so many more things I can say about the Spurs, but im gonna let it go.

Spurs and Suns are both great teams. I think the Suns need more time to gel as a team, next year they will be a team few will want to face. The Spurs are a solid team that remains pretty consistent and reminds me alot of the Rockets during the championship years.

That said I agree the Hack a Shaq is not only gay but makes the game much more boring for the fans.

The Suns have been together for many years...Trading for a has been (Shaq) was a mistake.

As to Hack a Shaq. Its boring to the fans, because an overrated player who has gotten by on his size and lack of basketball skilz cannot make a simple free throw. Go ahead, be a liberal, and blame the effect, and not the cause.

This was not entirely directed at Scott, moreso the complainers about Hack a Shack.

And yes, Duncan is a little b*tch. He a plays basketball with tissues in his pocket, and downs half a bottle of Midol after every game. He also douches regularly.

I agree Shaq lacks in some key areas but he has stepped it up for the playoffs. Sure 50% from the line is poor, but 44% from the field, avging more than 9 rebounds and contributing more than 15 ppg isnt too bad for a player at the end of his career. The Spurs hack him because they are afraid of his ability when the ball is in his hands. Looks like the Spurs may not feel he is so overrated

ok ok , I'm sorry for talking a little trash. Phoenix happens to be a very good team and I am just happy that we were able to beat them again. I was just pleased that the Spurs, who many so called experts thought could not get by Shaq and Phoenix, actually used Shaq to win the game. You have to admit that it was very smart to do and more than a few Phoenix fans were saying "Damn Shaq, hit the free throws". I do it myself when Timmy D is shooting them.

Hey I'm not against some trash talking. I just wish the Rockets would back me up on more of the smack I talk I really wanted Houston, S.A. & Dallas to all get out of the first round, how cool would that be for Tx considering how strong the West is this year

It would have been very cool to see all three Texas teams advance. Now I just wish that our pro football team would do a bit better
