The Independent Truckers are in a Catch 22, it costs them $1000.00 to fill up their Tanks with diesel. The truckers who decide to miss work for a day, for a protest of some sort, miss makin a load for the day, therefore miss out on $$$. The Big Trucking Companies take up the slack when the Independants take time off to protest. The companies who the Independent Hauls for refuses to pay the extra Cash for the Fuel surecharge that the Independent has to charge to make a decent profit! They know that they can always call a Trucking Co. instead of the Independent! It is not a good time in the USA to be an Independent Trucker!.............I truly feel bad for them!...........

No foolin, I'm waiting for them to lay me off, hopefully not but it seems like it might come to that. I think alot of independants are buying alot older trucks, but it will hurt as well because they will spend more downtime to fix them. What a bunch of idiots there is ruling the gas prices, whoever or whatever the circumstance. Point is, trucks stop moving, products don't get to the destination and then what? They should be doing everything in their power (politicians and companies) to prevent this. America and Canada to follow are bieng driven fast into a poverty in every which way possible.

Good for them to protest and miss work. Yes, missing a load today, but maybe to prevent never delivering again, this was a small price to pay. C'mon November, anyone is better than a Bush. His daughter is kinda hot though, no?
