Liars

Anyone know a guy that just makes things up for no reason? I have a friend that does this and I think he believes his own stories. We call him T3. Tall Tale Teller. And he knows that we know he makes things up but he continues to do so.

Yep, I knew a guy in college who was the same way. Ironically, his name was GUY.

The one thing that I distinctly remember was when he tried telling everyone that he had a full ride to the University of Michigan (this is while we were attending Michigan State University) but decided not to go because he hated the school so much.

About a month later, we we're all sitting around talking about how broke we all were and he says "tell me about it, I have to pay my own way to go to school here (Michigan State)." I busted him right then and there and asked why he would spend thousands of dollars a year to go to school here when he could have went to UofM for free? He just got up and left the room after that.

Idiot. I think he's working in a bike shop now.

I have encountered guys like this. Distance yourself, unless they are extremely fun to ballbust. Eventually, they will go away. Until them, use them for your own personal amusement, and enjoy.

You'll get to meet him on memorial day weekend Scott. He is actually a cool guy to hang out with and a good friend but he just makes up stories and exagerates so much.

I worked with a guy like this. Every story was better than the guy who had just been speaking. We called him STAN because every story started "**** That Ain't Nothin'!!"

Well I am not going to dissaociate myself with the guy. I may be exagerating a bit. But he does have some funny stories that everyone knows is made up. I think its a mental disorder of some sort. Maybe these people think that other people will like them more if they have these elaborate stories to tell.

My best friend since 1st grade is a pathological liar. He tells lies that he knows are not taken seriously on a per conversation basis. We honestly have no idea why he does it. For instance: Last year during bear hunting season in Western PA. Says he shot one, his first, a big one. This is a big deal, for hunters. He hasn't mentioned it, or provided any instance of it since. Did you think that anyone who shot their first bear wouldn't take a million pictures to show off or atleast mention the hunting experience after that?

He doesn't hurt anyone with his lies: they are merely a minor, roll your eyes incovenience.
