Waskom is very close to where I grew up. We lived out in the country between Marshall and Waskom. There's not much there.

lunch was good. Latest news i have on the truck situation isn't good

sounds like she canceled her insurance policy Jan 4th, but still carried the card as if it was current. I thought Texas was supposed to be using a new electronic data base that prevents things like this, and catches uninsured motorists. There is a chance that she has a new policy that we can hit her on, but i doubt it.

Sorry Pat - it's not sounding good. In my job, I can't tell you how many times I've seen that happen. We even report it to the police or highway patrol when it happens to our clients - but it seems that no one ever does anything about it. The police never follow up on it. We preach sermons to our clients all the time about carrying UI/UM insurance. You can't depend on anyone else to carry the proper liability, so you have to protect yourself.
In your case, I hope the lady has another policy with someone else and your truck gets fixed soon!

That is horrible Pat. I'm sure your insurance company will sick the legal dogs on her.
