If the group agrees the ball should be in an certain area, but it can not be found due to the leaves, you get a free drop.

If you roll the ball, improve the lie or don't count all the strokes, you are not playing golf. You just fool yourself into thinking you are better than you really are.
Yep, you're only cheating yourself, literally.

Other than the two off number one and the leaf rule, we play by the USGA rule book. Oh, and except for the 14 club rule, unless we are in a tourney.

I only take mulligans off a driver tee shot, well that was before I changed my swing. I used to slice it bad, lost a lot of ***** right. Now it goes straight off the tee, I figured out the new driver and I am not having to aim left to keep the ball in play with the slice. I was having a hard time, hitting the ball left a lot today, which is not normal for me. I'm usually way right. One tee shot I hit was literally 2" above the ground and went over 250 yards on the fly easy off a miss hit. I think some worms were mortally wounded when it started rolling.

Thats how I play Blue. I count all strokes and play the ball as it lies. We do the two off number one only because we never hit range ***** before a round.
