Naps don't count! If we count naps, we have to count most of the day when you're brain dead!

That's correct, when you sit on it it goes dead.

Just found out that dear lawyer friend of mine passed away this week. He was 43 years old and dropped dead from a heart attack while working in Los Angeles. His funeral is Saturday in the big city of Daingerfield, TX. (where I grew up).

That is sad. There is a lot of stress in an attorney's life. Talked to my son last night, and he is working long hours. It was 10:30 and he was still at the office. His wife has been out of town for two weeks with a big trial. She gets home tomorrow and they go to Mardi Gras for the weekend. Guess they still have energy to play.

Thanks, Dave. It was quite a shock to everyone in the legal community here. He was one of the law instructors where I went to college. We had some really fun times in his classes.

I would like to go to Mardi Gras. I have never been. I've always been a little bit scared of being down there during Mardi Gras - but I think it would be fun to at least go one time.
