Cheez-its are baked. You have to have the hole in the middle for the same reason you have to put little holes in pie crusts - to keep them from bubbling up when you bake them.

Nothing to do but count posts and eat Cheez-its. Thanks for the explanation. I did not know that.

Does anyone else like those little Fish Crackers? I like to mix them in a bowl of cashews and peanuts.
