A firend has an interesting and funny situation. His Mom married a guy a few years back that turned out to be worthless. She started rat holing cash so he could not get his hands on it. She saved it up and buried it in a storage shed in the back yard. She had it in a plastic box wrapped in a plastic bag. It was there two or three years. She dug it up and the box was full of water. So, she had to wash the bills, some were stuck. Some had to be turned in to the Fed to be replaced. She has a dilemma now. Has over $100,000 in cash and if she deposits it into the bank, it will get reported to the IRS.

Do I need to point out that accountant types are not nearly as devious as attorney types?

I think accountant types are just as bad - or maybe even worse. The only difference is that they are quiet and secretive in their deviousness whereas attorneys just flat out boast about theirs.

Yet another reason why I love living in Texas - it's never too cold here to go to the range. Even if it's a little chilly - the range I used has sheltered pistol and rifle ranges.
