That was my first thought until I priced one out. They want almost 3500 bucks for one and I dont have that kind of cash to be spending right now on a turbo.

3500? Ouch. Might as well swap in a CR Cummins then.

Thought of this as well but my wife would have my head if I did that.

You arent married yet but there are some things that you just dont hide from you wife and this isnt something you hide. That and I just told her yesterday afternoon that I am going to a gun show on Friday and something might follow me home from the show.

Im not married no, but if you are the bread earner in the family, and have a little cushion why not enjoy the money you work hard to earn. Im not really trying to stir things up. My GF already knows that i spend alot of my extra money on my truck and she has learned to cope with that. I know i cant do this the rest of my life, but i sure am having fun

Patrick, spending extra money is a little different from rolling it into the loan. If you are married, and something life ending happens to you, your wife owes the debt you have incurred. She has a right to approve that debt ahead of time.

True, but having the funds to cover it does not remove her right to know about it.

Oh boy! I can see you're hopeless. That poor girl! I guess you learned all about Swiss accounts from working on those "feren" cars.
