Oh to be off of work. I heard a rumor that boss man is letting us go home at 3 today. Not like we've done ***** all day...

 

Wish I could leave work early and get paid instead of get in trouble.

 

I'm going to need a nap in about an hour. The company fed everyone today. BBQ brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad, cole slaw, peppers and pickles. Iced tea. Man, it was GOOD! I think we are closing at 3:00 as well.

 

Wow, good meal. I'm cooking myself a few brats.

 

Nice... We went down the road to the Mexican joint. The afternoon bathroom rush has already started...

 

I already had my nap in the tanning bed at lunch.
My boss just called from the airport in Memphis on his way to Detroit. I'm trying to find his flight schedule so that I'll know exactly when I am leaving today!

 

Good grief!

 

It's kinda boring here today. No emails from the courts. No phone calls from frantic clients - or anyone else ('cept from the boss). I think he does that just to see if I am still here - although he calls under the guise of asking me to check his email for him. (He carries his PDA and laptop everywhere). So, I know he can check his own email.

A trip to the lake is definitely in order here.

 

My family is gone until Sunday night. Went to Houston for a bar mitzvah. I'm debating whether to work tomorrow or not.

 

I thought you had that debate everyday.
