Cool, Pat. Post the info up here or make a thread about it. That would be a fun one.

Got the truck tore down. We started with a whole truck. All that's left is a bare cab on the frame. No doors, no glass, no motor, no bed.

Now it's time to go get some food and beer. And he's buying.

Bidding on a an Orlimar hipti 460 driver and vt830 3 wood on ebay. After reading some reviews i placed a bid. I wanted a taylor made r7 draw, but they are too high even used. The Orlimar reviews just as well.

I really need a better putter too. Looking at a Ray Cook blue goose 3 putter.

Just bought a blue goose 3 putter for $25.01 shipped off ebay. It's a $70 putter new on the Ray Cook site.

Hey ACs. Had a nice trip. The truck is still fun to drive! Had a great time with the kids. Yesterday, got to take my 9 year old Grandson to play golf. It was his first time on a course. Up till yesterday, all he had done was practice and the driving range. We had a good time and he did very well. Made a special memory.

That's great Jim. I know that was fun for you both!

I'm going to have to start getting my son to play. Have been looking at some starter sets for lefties. There's some good ones out there.

Congrats on the new clubs, they make some good stuff. We got the starter set for Ethan at Academy. It's made by Alien and they had a left hand set. It's an excellent little set, for about $80.

Only paid $60 plus $12 shipping for the driver and 3 wood. Not too bad. The reviews were good for both clubs, as well as the putter. My current putter is a joke.

I need to get up there to Academy and look at the starter sets this week.

Includes a nice bag with stand, oversize driver, utility metal, 7/8 iorn, 9/P, and an excellent putter. All with graphite shafts.

Wow, sounds nice. Nicer than my starter stuff.

I was looking online at some Callaway starter sets. $239. Pricey.

I think it will be beneficial for him to learn being a lefty, on the practice range he can face me at address. Easier to watch and learn/teach, for us both.
