No - I didn't have a camera with me.

Here are some pics of the deer that has adopted my horses as her family. She pretty much stays with the horses all the time now and comes up to the fence to eat with them when we call them up. It is so funny to watch her running up through the pasture with them just like she is a horse.

When the farrier came a few weeks ago to trim the horses' hooves, the deer stood right up in the front yard with the horses the entire time. I told my farrier if he could catch her and give her a trim, I'd pay him double.

It will be interesting to see if she keeps this good thing to herself, or brings the family.

It's difficult to keep my trim, svelt, buff self this time of year. People keep bringing good stuff to eat. That coffee cake this morning made me want a cup of coffee, and I almost never drink coffee. It all ruins my lunch appetite.

She's been coming around for about 6 months now. The only time she ever brought anyone else up was about a month ago. She brought a 6 point white tail buck up with her. (She's a Sitka black tail) He was really skiddish and didn't come up close. We only saw him the one time. I figure he'll be the daddy of her little fawn come spring.
