Doing my taxes sometime next week, which means you should be seeing a post about me using a portion of it for some stupid irresponsible purchase sometime in the near future. I'm thinking some Bilstein 5100s might show up at my door. Or maybe a Yeti
Going with the Bilsteins I see!

Mid 60's today so when I went and took my walk I didn't expect 30 mph winds...maybe higher in gust's!

Yeah I've wanted them for awhile, and I've found a few good deals on Amazon. Probably going to go ahead and do it right and get rid of the spacer

If I had to be at church from 7am until 3pm, I think I'd rather just go to "".........

My week is pretty much booked. In the office today tying up a few loose ends. Traveling to our mill in Carthage, Texas, tomorrow for some meetings and then staying in Marshall that evening. Wednesday will pretty much be a travel day heading back to Houston. Thursday and Friday I will need to stay in town to take care of the boy since it's the wife's annual "girls weekend" trip that she and a bunch of her teacher friends always take this time of year up to Gruene, Texas. So if you happen to be heading to Gruene next weekend, beware of the table full of "40-something" women drinking Margaritas.......

That sounds like a fun week. Catching up on paperwork and paying some bills over here. Waiting for this wind we've been having to calm down a bit before I head over to the walking track. Wife and I went to Gruene a few years back on a hill country vacation to Canyon Lake. Nice area.

I hope they get the power turned back on in time for everyone to watch the Pats in the Super Bowl!

I clearly remember being a little boy back in Minnesota when we had a huge snow storm the weekend the Vikings played the Steelers in the Super Bowl. Power was restored before the game, but I remember having to dig my brother-in-law's snowmobile out of a massive drift that formed in our front yard during the storm.

Nothing says "fun" better than being 8-years-old and having a good old-fashioned blizzard......
