Went and got a oil change on the truck today and then decided to take it to the car wash. I noticed it was up against a Blazer when it came out but i let them finish the truck before i looked for damage. Ended up the license plate was bent, both bumper pads scuffed and the plastic piece under the intercooler was scratched up pretty bad.

My 50 dollar dash cam paid for itself today.. If i didn't have it then i would've been screwed since their camera only shows the vehicles entering and exiting the car wash and it didnt show the impact.. My camera showed everything

The Blazer in front of my truck had the ebrake on (according to the car wash guy)and jumped the roller and my truck hit it and ended up pushing it through the car wash.

The car wash wrote me a check for $350 for the damage and 4 free deluxe car washes (about 65 dollar value)

Ouch. Sounds like quite the expensive car wash if you didn't have the camera going!

for sure.. I usually take the truck to the car wash when it has road film on it, then the next wash is a full hand detail with wax, sealant etc until the next time it rains.. After all being in Texas i may go 3 or 4 months without it being on a wet road.

We got a good bit of water falling from the sky on Friday over here in San Antone. Finally got to use the locking rear diff this weekend because of it .
