You sound like my wife. Just not up to the hassle!

That's what I was thinking! Pick you up a '14 5.0 before the body style changes.

Although I don't blame you for avoiding the hassle.

Next time it does it try adjusting the temp control, My neighbors truck would do the same kind of sound and he would just turn it up a couple clicks off of the coldest setting and it wouldnt make the noise.. Thats about the only problem the dealer fixed for him on his f150..

Think they replaced the motor assembly and the hot/cold blend door actuator and it fixed the problem

Watched one of my favor movies last night. Gone in 60 seconds with Nicholas cage... I want to build one of those Eleanor's some day. That engine sounds unreal. 351 I believe they slapped in those cars.

Probably a blend door actuator motor

Saw the early aftermath of a vicious wreck last night. A 04-08 Scab slammed hard in the front end, couldn't see anything else involved. The other side of the highway divider wall there were two semi trucks, they had a dually wheel and tires off the truck. I think somehow the wheels broke loose jumped the wall and slammed the F150 head on.

That kind of stuff lets you know that you never know what is going to get you no matter how cautious you are.
