Let's start over......
No flurries here...70 degrees right now! Outside shooting the pellet guns with my oldest grandson earlier now I'm watching the Bronco's vs the Pat's. All is well down here and hope the same up your way!

Took these pictures with my Canon SX50..cypress swamp about 15 miles from my house and a pelican resting in Bayou Lafourche about a mile away from the house. Had a bald eagle land in a tree in my backyard before I could get my hands on a camera. Lot's of bird's down here for the winter right now also. Here's one critter that tried to jump in the airboat with us a few month's ago!

I think I have mentioned before that my favorite writer uses Bayou LaFourche as setting for most of his novels. James Lee Burke. He has a place around there, or did.

Be even better if you lived down here and got me to help you with it
I remember you talking about him before..I'm not much of a reader except for the newspaper and some magazines. I did read up about Burke and he has a home in New Iberia which is about 80 miles away and close to the Tabasco plant in Avery Island. One of his characters is Dave Robichaux and Robichaux is a real common name around here. Bayou Lafourche start's at Donaldsonville and run's all the way to the Gulf of Mexico not far from Grand Isle, La. It's real scenic down here in a different sort of way from the rest of the country.
Don't read one of his books unless you want to get hooked. I read a lot, many writers and He is my favorite writer.

If only I did... you would be a lifesaver
Got up early, drove to Athens to work today. Getting all the computers online with the server, passwords set up for all the users. Going home tonight, then back over Tuesday night for 3 days.
