I think I have mentioned before that my favorite writer uses Bayou LaFourche as setting for most of his novels. James Lee Burke. He has a place around there, or did.

Grilled 4.5 lbs of meat today. Had family over for my BIL's 16th bday celebration. Good food and great weather, makes for a happy Patrick.

I remember you talking about him before..I'm not much of a reader except for the newspaper and some magazines. I did read up about Burke and he has a home in New Iberia which is about 80 miles away and close to the Tabasco plant in Avery Island. One of his characters is Dave Robichaux and Robichaux is a real common name around here. Bayou Lafourche start's at Donaldsonville and run's all the way to the Gulf of Mexico not far from Grand Isle, La. It's real scenic down here in a different sort of way from the rest of the country.

Don't read one of his books unless you want to get hooked. I read a lot, many writers and He is my favorite writer.

Got up early, drove to Athens to work today. Getting all the computers online with the server, passwords set up for all the users. Going home tonight, then back over Tuesday night for 3 days.

Most people from Athens would have trouble regardless what he was driving. Just don't ever see snow like that.
