THose EB guys sure get serious about defending the EB. Superior in every way? Trips to the dealer? Not. I have driven 3 EBs and was not impressed with anyone of them. One was the truck exactly like mine that I test drove before choosing the 5.0 and the other 2 are guys I worked with in Athens. A Platinum and an FX4. I was able to romp on both and they were nothing special at all. The Platinum is a 2012, the FX4 a 2013. Plus my 5.0 gets better mpg. Of course, both of those had 3.73 gears, 4X4, and 20s, really not a heads up comparison with my XLT. However, some of those guy's posts would make me think that those differences would be nothing to overcome for the EB. On the otherhand, neither of these thrucks have had the shudder problem.

Don't even get me started on the Ecoturd asshats...... My truck almost got smacked in the passenger side twice yesterday by two separate Ecoturd drivers almost losing control of the camper they were towing that was way to much trailer for a 1/2 ton truck. Both trailers were at least 28ft long.

So do enviromentalists....but I don't see any savings at all by buying a tooter over a 5.0 or 6.2.....

I think if one were to look at the overall cost savings of the 3 motors the 6.2 would have the biggest gain over the v10 it replaced....

Patrick, I'm guessing by this post that you and Sara finally found a house that you like, closed on, and are moved into now?
