I'm about ready to trade my truck for a Dodge Cummins 3500. Battery light came on Monday night I thought it was just the cold, no such luck, started it yesterday and battery light would not go off so now the truck has to be towed to the shop so I don't kill the FICM and injectors. I found a really nice low mileage 12 valve Cummins about 250 miles away I'm getting really tired of dealing with this 6.0 BS.

A member just PM'ed me. Said he just turned 460,000 miles on his f150, -original motor and trans.

If he only posted his model year and engine...

Sounds like just an alternator, nothing 6.0 specific, could happen to any car or truck
