Nitrogen acts like "air" but the molecules are smaller so the tires are less suseptable (sp?) to leaks and pressure changes.

less maintence, large molucules need a bigger hole to leak out....
they also run slightly cooler b.c larger molucles move around less. Im sure you could google some better information thats more sientific then what i can offer

well no, i mean like even with temperature changes from hot to cold you loose some tire pressure with "air" and nitrogen you dont. the temperature changes has to do with how the rubber compound of the tire and the metal rim react with eachother....
i dont mean that if someone has a nail in the tire that they should get N02 to slow the leak.....
