Thank's Randall, they are on the list but now that I have it running and just about ready for snow I need to focus on some other projects that need to get done before it snows.

Well, damn, I really don't need one I guess.

So did you fix that up as well ? You have a nice set up. Hey I'll trade you the JD trailer for the snow thrower.

BTW- Nice job, she's lookin good!
Thank's Brew, I do see quite a few of them for sale on E-Bay but I am going to hang onto this one because I pretty much stole it.

Matt, they are great machines and hold there values and parts are availabe used for a fraction of new ones. Take a look at 300's, 312's, 314's, and if you want to step up to power steering look at the 318's. The 318's are pricey but some times you get someone that doesn't know what they have or just don't care and want to get rid of it. If you don't mind a mid 60's to 70's vintage tractor look at the 140's because they are pretty much the same tractor as the 312 but just an older version before they were made to make safetly updates. These things are stupid simple to fix and I could have probably had this wrapped up last month or August if I hadn't lost my motivation a couple times.

Parts are still readily available even for the 140's? That's the problem I have with my Wheel Horse, no parts for the hydro and what you can find for the Onan (not very much) is worth more than the tractor.

Yes used and new parts are available for the 300's and 140's and are pretty reasonable for used but have a defibulator ready if you buy something from Mother Deere. E-Bay is your friend for finding used parts in good condition. I have a 1965 110 round fender tractor that is going to get restored and I can still get a ton of used parts for it. The Hydro's are rebuildable on the Deere tractors as well and you can get entire used rear ends for between $200 and $400.

Thank's Jbrew, the truck is going to stay gray. I have a neighbor that is a diehard Lions fan and I just tell him it's a Packer's theme to bug him. That's one of the projects I need to get done before the snow flies because I have to put the rest of the steel on the ceiling.
