Let me rephrase, it was 'Reading VID...' to be precise, and locked up on that. Truck is OK to drive since stock tune is loaded, just need to figure out what's going on. Unhooked and rehooked up the evo per Bill and just get a green screen at all times, even with key off.

Bad cable going from the EVO to the OBDII port on the truck?

That's 97-03's.....wonder if a low voltage issue from the battery is causing it...in a few cases there has been hardware issues....

A blank green screen can be the result of a download failure during an attempt to update the Gryphon's firmware which causes the firmware to be erased and not updated. Now, the Bootloader has nothing to boot to, so the screen stays green with nothing else displayed. The vehicle is not at fault.

The cure is to reset a download which reprograms the firmware and calibrations.

Nope cable's fine, 04-08's don't have that issue.

Bill just called and fixed it all up again. Did remote desktop and restored my gryphon/evo and then we got the custom files loaded. Somehow the unit got too many files loaded and it stopped completely, but it's all good now.

Very relieved. It's not very often that you get one on one conversation with the owner of a company and then get immediate resolution. PHP is great!
