Trucks at the dealer... dropped it off today. Horrid pulley noise on Sunday. It was getting worse, but it backed off today. It's a creaking grinding sound (it had been snowing the day before). Hopefully they figure it out. Gonna be $$ ($98 minimum for base of one hour)

88, I am 2wd and will never own a 4wd truck if I can avoid it. I have no need and if the roads are bad, there's no need to go out. Just wear and tear parts that are a hassle and I would never use it anyway. Just as I suspected: Bad idler pulley and belt pulley. My service manager Doug called me right when i was walking out of class. About 225 he said.
