Blue, how often do you mow? Seems like every other day!
Once a week, usually Sat or Sun. If I do it in the evening, it usually takes two nites. Takes about 5 hrs total. Keeps me "trim".

So, when I turned on the pump to vac, water sprayed all over the inside of the pump house. The inlet line on the filter had broken. So, got to tear the whole thing down and now get to run down some parts and put it back together. It was nearly 10:00 when I got inside for the night. I wish I could hook on to the pool and drag it off. I am tired of the time and money it takes to maintain it. About the only time I really use it is after yard work. Well, I did take a "cool off" dip Sat and Sun. just a lot of headache tho.
Ewwww, sorry! Sounds like a big mess. If you figure out a way to drag it off, you can haul it over here.

He'll only confess to once a week. However, I have information that he is a closet mowaholic and that he mows nightly. He has even been known to slip into the neighbor's yards when no one was home and mow them too. It's a chronic disease.

Just under an acre. Lots of trees and flower beds to deal with.

Here are a couple of shots showing small parts.

You know me better than that! However, with my new tractor, I considered mowing my neighbors place, just to play with it!

I don't have a pic but it is the X300 listed here. I went in to get the zero turn, X-Trac, but they convinced me with all the side hills and wet areas that it would be unsafe. I'm on the side of a hill with three tiers. So I went with the tractor and I'm amazed at how sharp it turns. I wanted a smaller cut, about a 30 inch, but no one makes a good one anymore, so settled on a 42.

I'm familiar with the Dixon's, we have a local dealer. I was considering their little Speedster for awhile.

That don't look too bad to mow...of course our grass doesn't grow and the blades are thin so you just run around with the mower.
At one time, I considered hiring it done. Called two different lawn services, both took a look and would not even quote. It's a killer, very time consuming.
