I thought about getting an after market hood but decided against it I think it will throw off the look I am going for plus I can't find one I really like. I want the glossy pillars like those on the 04 lariats that came painted. Mine were damaged so I lucked out. I also need to decide on a valence and decide if I want bed caps or not

 

Just what kind of weeds do y'all have growing down there??

 

Rye grass, thistles, milk weed, johnson grass, grass burrs, dandylions and stuff I don't know what is.

 

oh, and several clover likes pests.

 

We have rye (a lawn grass here) thistles, milk weed, dandelions, 3-4 clovers, Japanese Knotweed, spotted knapweed and a dozen or so others that invade

 

Henbit, crabgrass, some weed I call sock burrs, anything the squirrels plant too.

 

I just want a hood that isn't aluminum.

 

That too! I keep finding little stashes here and there when I'm digging and raking.

 

You sure have to be tender and careful with those glass hoods.

 

One I like is steel.

That would be better than glass, fiberglass is tough to keep from cracking around the hinges. Have to be very careful when closing them.
