Sounds like this storm is in the Midwest all the way down to the gulf and over to the eastern seaboard....

Sunny and cold here again and my tractor and blower are snug and warm in the heated garage. I want it to snow so I play some more and try out my new tires.

Cold and wet here. We sure need the rain but I'm not real fond of the cold stuff. I mean I do live in FL for a reason.

Still had to go to work today even though the Emergency Management Agency declared all roads in my county unpassable. They finally told us all to go home at 8.

Measured the snow at work, 7.5" with more on the way.

Now I'm going to create a ruckus on the 4 wheeler.

Had some slushy stuff last night going to Brownsboro from Burleson. It was 29 degrees and had to watch the bridges, but had no trouble, really. Saw a lot of evidence where vehicles had gone off the road during the day.

Near the house in Brownsboro, there is a wooden bridge that crosses a creek on a County Road. It was white with snow and ice. There are no guard rails, just a flat bridge. Hit that at about 35 mph and did not feel it slide. Leaving out this morning, I decided to take an optional way out. Kind of spooky.
