Found a shop worthy of working on my truck. They were impressed with my knowledge on the Ford 5.4 3V problems and they knew them all. They knew the big codes and everything I inquired about a TB cleaning and they said they would do it with the plugs if I went through them. Best thing of all... they said OEM is the best for the 5.4's. They said we only put factory plugs in these engines and follow the specs. I was thrilled. I am making an appointment for the coming weeks. Then in the spring, tranny service. They do a flush, but it cleans the crap all out of the tranny until it is clean and the owner's son said he does it until it is pure both going in and out of the tranny. 189 for that he said. 300-400 for plugs it sounds like as well. The owner agreed with me on getting them done before 100k as he said it is peace of mind. The shop really knows what they are doing. Recommended by a member on here who leaves one town over. Noticed how clean my truck was too boot and said "I can tell you're ****"

On your tranny flush make sure they don't add any cleaning jizz....the machine does nothing except catch and supply the fluid...yer trucks tranny should do the pumping...
