I don't either. You need to not go less than 5 or so gallons so you won't pick up so much of the sediment in the tank. But, you knew that already.

Of course! Actually, my main reason for not letting it get lower than that is because I live out in the boonies and I don't ever want to get caught without enough fuel in case of an emergency.

well if she filled up 23 she had 3 left so a range of about 35 miles left

Yeah, she prolly had a little over 4 left, and the way she drives, that would be about 48 miles.

Ok, I pulled out the reciept. It was 21.5 gallons @ 3.95/gallon. So, I guess I had 4.5 gallons left. I normally get 18 mpg... so, I probably had about 81 miles left in the tank. Still, I don't normally let it get that low. I know I deserve to be fussed at. :o
