I don't either. You need to not go less than 5 or so gallons so you won't pick up so much of the sediment in the tank. But, you knew that already.

Actually, my main reason for not letting it get lower than that is because I live out in the boonies and I don't ever want to get caught without enough fuel in case of an emergency.

26 gallon on supercrew, only one tank availbe for all 97-03 unless you get the 32? gallon on the long wheel base (ext cab 8' bed)

Ok, I pulled out the reciept. It was 21.5 gallons @ 3.95/gallon. So, I guess I had 4.5 gallons left. I normally get 18 mpg... so, I probably had about 81 miles left in the tank. Still, I don't normally let it get that low. I know I deserve to be fussed at. :o
