I think I'm going to have to try and refinish my tinted tails some. I think I'll try and tape off a section of the brake light area and sand off some of the dark smoked area and reclear the light somehow. That way the brake lights will be a bit more visible. It will look pretty good I think.

 

Yes. Personally, I think the best looking ones are those that are smokey black. You can still see the red but it is a dark ruby red. That way they match up with the heads better. When they are totally black, they get lost. That is just my personal opinion. Just stay out of Arlington, they will pull you over.

 

Taking the kiddos down to south padre with my best friend and his family. Thinking about letting them burry me in the sand. Although we might be there all day. Thats a lot of sand.

 

The brake lights can be seen now, I just want them a bit brighter. Another project... Really like the tails.

 

That sounds like fun. The only beach I've been on down there is Crystal at Galveston and I was not too impressed. Pretty dirty place. I understand SP is nicer.

 

There was a guy in Burleson that was tinting them for a pretty reasonable fee. He was always on craigslist.

I just don't know how to go about the whole sanding process. Maybe I should hit up a body shop.
